C & S Solar has had the pleasure of designing and building one of Tuscaloosa's most energy efficient Tiny Homes. This home features very solid construction with a sound foundation starting with the 8' x 25' triple axle 17,000 lbs rated trailer equipped with electric brakes to support this approximately 12,000 lbs home. The home's energy efficiency was considered throughout the build. The 265 square foot tiny house features energy efficient Anderson windows, complete spray foam insulation, and a mini split high efficiency ac/heat pump. All plumbing and wiring meets or exceed residential codes. The unit includes a 100 lb. propane tank for powering the on-demand hot water heater and 4 burner range/oven combo set in granite counter tops. All lighting has utilized energy efficient LED technology. The home boasts a 4 KW battery stored solar power system which provides ample support for the 12 cubic foot refrigerator and all the other electrical appliances. This home is completely self sufficient except for water supply and sanitary sewer. The home does come with all connections needed for easy water and sewer hookup.
